OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY’S 2ND ANNUAL COWBOY100 HONORS MATT GIPSON, PRESIDENT OF EXTRACT COMPANIES
STILLWATER, OK (MAY 25, 2023)
The second annual Cowboy100, hosted by Oklahoma State University, recently honored Matt Gipson, President of Extract Companies, for his business leadership achievements in the oilfield service industry. Gipson, a 2004 graduate of the Spears School of Business, has been at the helm of the company since its inception in 2017.
“It really is an honor to be recognized by my alma mater during this year’s Cowboy100,” said Gipson. “From our early beginnings as a start-up in a highly competitive industry to navigating the challenges of a global pandemic to now, finding ourselves as a respected leader in the marketplace, have all been influenced and informed by the valuable business lessons I learned while at Oklahoma State University.”
The Cowboy100 recognizes business leaders and achievements throughout OSU’s alumni base while raising funds for the Riata Center’s student programs and activities. It also serves as an additional resource for students to engage with industry leaders, positioning the Riata Center as a reference point for entrepreneurship throughout the university.
